What can I enroll during Midyear?

You have nothing to enroll during the midyear term in your first year. You can consider this as your resting term, or you may consider reading literature for your thesis. 

In your second year, you have to enroll residency to be able to take the comprehensive examination during the midyear term. While in your third year, it is necessary to enroll in ASEAN 299 and be able to present your thesis in the research colloquium.
